Blondies (Blonde Brownies)

1/2 c. butter or margarine

1 1/2 c. brown sugar

2 eggs

1 tsp. Watkins Original Double-Strength Vanilla

1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour

1/2 tsp. Watkins Baking Powder

1/2 tsp. salt

1 c. chocolate chips

Directions
Melt butter in 2-quart/2-liter saucepan. Stir in remaining ingredients except chocolate chips. Spread in greased and floured 9 × 13-inch/23 × 33-cm baking dish. Sprinkle with chocolate chips. Bake at 350ºF/180ºC for 25 to 40 minutes. Cool and cut into bars.

Makes 15 servings.
